DNS lookup (DNS) is a process to determine the hostname or host associated with a given IP address or host address.
What does this tool do?
A Domain Name is a unique name that you choose for your web site. All websites are identified only by their names
called as domain names. Each Domain name has a unique IP Address. DNS lookup will help you to find the Ip Address for given hostname or hostname for a given IP address.
The Domain Name System is used to determine what IP address is associated with a given domain name. So, to reverse-resolve a known IP
address is to look up what the associated domain name is belonging to that IP address.
Reverse DNS lookups for IPv4 addresses use a reverse IN-ADDR entry in the special domain in-addr.arpa. An IPv4 address is
represented in the in-addr.arpa domain by a sequence of bytes in reverse order, represented as decimal numbers, separated by
dots with the suffix .in-addr.arpa. For example, the reverse lookup domain name corresponding to the IPv4 address 69.65.121.101
is 101.121.65.69.in-addr.arpa.
Why we recommend?
We recommend you to use IP/DNS lookup tool because this is the right place
for you to check how your web hosting company or domain name registrar has set up the DNS stuff for your domain, how your dynamic DNS is going,
or to search IP addresses or research any kind of e-mail abuse (UBE/UCE spam) or other internet abuse.
