How to add 404 error page to my index page in Cpanel?


Follow the below steps to add 404 error page.

Step 1: Login to your Cpanel account.

Step 2: Now click on the menu named 'Error Pages'.

Step 3: Then in the new page, click 404 (Wrong Page) option.

Step 4:In the editor textfield box, simply enter the below mentioned code.

Referring URL -

Visitor's IP address -

Requested URL -

Server Name -

Visitor's Browser -

Redirect Status Code -


Step 5: Now save the page and enter an invalid URL to check the 404 error page.

Note that to have a simple and custom 404 error page, you can enter just one or more variables in the above mentioned code.
