Frequently Asked Question

FAQ / Domain

how is domain age determined?

One of the many ranking factors in Google's search engine algorithm is the age of a domain name. Domain age is counted from the time of registration

Two things that are considered in the age of a domain name :

  • The age of the website

  • The length of time a domain has been registered

The age of the website is determined by how long the content has been actually on the web, how long the site has been in the promotion and even it considered the last time content was updated in site.

The google ranking also takes the domain registration duration into account whether its registered for 1 year or multiple years
