Domain Squatting is also referred as Cybersquatting. It is the activity of registering the domain name belonging to well known firms, products or even celebrities. Usually persons registers such domains with the aim of reselling them at higher costs.
At the same time the domain squatting is considered 'legal' at when a domain which doesn't belong/represent a particular firm or person or brand is registered by any person.
