Why it is not possible to transfer a domain name that was just registered to another registrar?

If you've recently registered a domain name and are wondering why you can't transfer it to another registrar, there are a few reasons why this might be the case. One possible reason is that some registrars impose a 60-day transfer lock on newly registered domain names, which means you won't be able to transfer your domain name to a new registrar for 60 days from the date of registration.

Another possible reason why your domain name transfer might be denied is if there has been a recent change to the registrant information associated with the domain name. If you've recently updated the registrant name, organization, or email address, or the administrative contact email address, you may need to wait 60 days before you can transfer the domain name to another registrar. This 60-day lock is in place to protect your domain name from unauthorized transfers.

Some registrars may offer an opt-out option for the 60-day transfer lock, but this is at their discretion, and they are not required to offer it. In general, if you want to transfer your domain name to a new registrar, it's best to do so before you make any changes to the registrant information.

It's also worth noting that there may be other factors that could prevent a domain name transfer, such as ongoing disputes or court orders related to the domain name. If your domain name is subject to any of these issues, you may need to resolve them before you can initiate a transfer.

Finally, keep in mind that the transfer process itself can be time-consuming and involve multiple steps, such as obtaining an authorization code from your current registrar and verifying your contact information with the new registrar. If you encounter any issues or have questions about the transfer process, it's best to reach out to both registrars for assistance.
