CodeIgniter is a PHP framework that allows you to develop web applications instantly. CodeIgniter allows you to connect to the database and perform important operations like sending emails, uploading files, managing sessions, etc.

cPanel allows you to install CodeIgniter using Softaculous. The below steps will walk you through the simple procedure involved in installation.

Step 1: Login to your cPanel account.

Step 2: Use the search box to quickly find Softaculous Apps Installer and click on it.

Step 3: Search for Codeigniter and click on it.

Step 4: You can see the Codeigniter along with the version and release date details. Click on Install option to proceed.

Step 5: Choose the protocol, domain name and directory as shown in the below image and click on Install.

Step 6: Now, you have successfully installed CodeIgniter using Softaculous in cPanel.
